What they're saying
“And Now is an album of heart, groove, and gratitude — and one that deserves a place among the finest roots and blues releases of the year.”
Richard Ludmerer
Making A Scene
“Each and every track on And Now is clear evidence of Lyle becoming a consummate writer and performer as he displays both respect for the blues along with a willingness to imbue it with his own thang. Along with Grant at the front there are 8 other musicians involved in this album; I won’t name them all here, but I will say I hope they play together for a very long time. This disc is one of the most ‘in the pocket’ sets I’ve heard all year.”

Gonzo Okanagan
“Grant Lyle is a blues-rock, rock and soul styled guitarist, singer and bandleader out of Toronto, Canada who can rock out more than a little like Jimi Hendrix circa 1967 or be as mellow as Eric Clapton on 461 Ocean Boulevard on this, his eighth album. Take a listen to One Desire for the former, and especially the ballad We'll Carry On for the latter.”

“A helluva picker.”
